Well…It’s harder than it looks to make perfectly symmetrical anodizing patterns.

Playing around with this particular anodizing technique, I find it more controllable because it involves directly ‘painting with amps’. If that didn’t suggest it clearly: yes, it’s an easy way to shock yourself if you’re not careful. These hoops are less than 3/4” across – to get this kind of color detail, there’s not much distance between my hand and a completed circuit. I’m now working with resists to make more defined color effects.
